About Melissa Levy

Melissa is a dedicated real estate specialist with a seasoned background in interior design, staging, and professional organization spanning over 20 years as the principal of her business, declutter + design. 

Prompted by a mission to help clients reimagine spaces, she seamlessly turns houses into cherished homes. Her passion lies in helping clients find a gem in the rough.  She can help anyone transform a space they couldn’t imagine living in into a home that embraces their personality, style and needs.

Her previous career as an Emmy award-winning producer for the YES Network equipped her with exceptional skills in project management and storytelling, enabling her to showcase properties in captivating and compelling ways.

Melissa is also very active within the Westport community. In her role as Chair of the transit committee on the RTM, she contributes to community development and infrastructure projects. This role enriches her understanding of local dynamics, deepens her insights into the neighborhoods she serves and enhances her ability to help her clients find their perfect home or position their home within the current market.

As an investor and rehabilitator of real estate, her intention is to maintain affordable pricing for the next homeowner.  She likes to keep the integrity of the original structure, while elevating the key lifestyle elements of the home. 

Melissa’s commitment to excellence in real estate is complemented by a genuine passion for design and community engagement, ensuring that each client's journey in buying or selling a home is both rewarding and seamless.

Melissa has lived in Westport with her husband and son for over 12 years. 

After learning to navigate the transition from NYC  into suburbia, she promptly fell in love with Westport and everything it has to offer. 

Melissa, her husband and their son (now in middle school) enjoy spending time walking and shopping downtown, eating at the fabulous restaurants in and around town and playing at the beach with their two rescue dogs.
